The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Accessibility team in order to help improve development and testing practices for Adobe’s mobile apps. As an Accessibility Engineer you will gain hands-on experience with Adobe tools and get to influence the direction for accessibility in the mobile versions of Adobe’s popular apps. What you'll do

  • Develop best practices for testing accessibility in iOS and Android applications.
  • Assist in identifying areas for improvement in Adobe’s mobile UI component libraries and mobile technologies.
  • Help build mobile accessibility resources for Adobe’s accessibility guide for developers.
  • Participate in engagements with mobile product teams to support accessibility improvements.

What you need to succeed

  • Experience with mobile apps on iOS and Android devices
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb concepts quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem, and present it to a group

Desired Skills

  • Experience with iOS and Android mobile application development
  • Experience with accessibility testing processes, including automated testing.
  • Passion for ongoing development of knowledge and skills in the area of accessibility for people with disabilities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $92,100 -- $161,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
