TikTok's SMB Sales team aims to help small businesses unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, and grow. From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB Sales team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small. We're looking for a dynamic, process-oriented professional to join us as our SMB Community Engagement Specialist for our North America (NA) Small Business Engagement team (SBE). SBE sits within the larger SMB Sales team and is focused on acquiring, engaging, educating, and empowering all types of SMBs to build a brand presence on TikTok and grow their business through our ever-growing suite of creative, analytical, and advertising tools. As the SMB Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping SMBs across the US discover and leverage the power of TikTok. You'll work closely with our Strategic Partnerships Manager, other Sales colleagues, and a variety of cross-functional partners to create a variety of events and experiences that motivate SMBs to join the platform and get them set up for success with us. Our ideal candidate will have a successful track record in partner and project management, event logistics, and communications, plus a genuine passion for helping small businesses succeed. Overall, the SMB Community Engagement Specialist will help shape and deliver an effective engagement strategy focused on driving the acquisition and early education of small businesses on TikTok. You will serve as a key contributor in identifying and pursuing untapped segment opportunities, seizing those opportunities through innovative partnerships with key community stakeholders, and delivering dynamic experiences that equip and inspire small businesses to grow with us. Responsibilities: - Support ongoing external landscape analysis to identify key players, pertinent events and forums, and peer business activity within the SMB space - Contribute to the development and execution of our community partner engagement strategy, with the ultimate aim of extending TikTok's unique message and value to SMBs across the US - Stay abreast of larger team and business priorities to ensure strategic alignment - Support relationships with external SMB partners aligned with broader strategy and coordinate logistics of engagement activities. - Engage Sales colleagues and other internal cross-functional partners as appropriate in the design, marketing, and execution of engagement activities - Support the development and optimization of the tools and systems needed to enable positive user experiences and streamlined progression from initiatives into sales pipeline - Work with Sales colleagues to ensure proper lead management and channeling - Contribute to reporting on partner initiative impact - Liaise with global SBE counterparts to share learnings, develop best practices, and create efficiencies - Track key partner and SMB engagement metrics across initiative lifecycle - Apply continuous methodologies to analyze, understand, and optimize existing processes, workflows, and outcomes

Qualifications

Qualifications: - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience - Strong interpersonal and communications skills; ability to engage and persuade diverse stakeholder audiences - Project planning and execution experience - Event management experience, both virtual and in-person - Clear understanding of the needs unique to small businesses and a genuine passion for finding innovative, engaging opportunities to address them - Demonstrated results working in highly cross-functional capacity - Ability to translate data into clear narratives, operational strategies, and recommendations - Comfort with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to creatively and effectively fill operational "white space" to drive results - Experience prioritizing and managing tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail - BA/BS degree or equivalent experience TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $65400 - $122400 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
