Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
   
• Experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
   
• Experience with cloud computing (e.g. cloud market) and delivering technical presentations.
   
• Experience with analytic warehouse solutions, “Big Data” technologies, real time streaming, performance, and scalability optimizations.
   

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
   
• Technical sales experience in the fields of cloud computing, data, information lifecycle management, and Big Data.
   
• Experience in writing code in a common development languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, Scala, R, or Go.
   
• Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch, or real-time event processing and exact transform and load (ETL) workflows solutions (i.e., Informatica, Talend, Alooma, SAP, Data Services).
   
• Knowledge of Linux and an ability to address domain name systems, transmission control protocol, firewalls, proxy servers, load balancing, virtual private network, and virtual private cloud.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$183,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
