Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience designing electrical substations, layouts, and design review of technical construction projects.
     
  • Experience using Revit or AutoCAD.
     

Preferred qualifications:

  • Understanding of basic physical design (e.g., layouts, lighting, grounding).
     
  • Understanding of basic electrical calculations (e.g., cable sizing, load flow, short circuit).
     
  • Understanding of basic electrical design, such as one line diagrams, connection, and block diagrams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Participate in conceptual design of electrical power distribution.
  • Read and interpret design documents by equipment manufacturers (e.g., switchgear, transformers, UPS, batteries).
  • Read and interpret design documents by engineering companies (e.g., one line diagrams, layouts, raceway drawings, grounding drawings, lighting drawings, interface drawings).
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed drawings in AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Input electrical system parameters in ETAP software and set up the models.
