Our global data centers teams are a diverse group of technical experts, and operations masters; all focused on providing secure, reliable, efficient and high performance compute infrastructure. Physical security is at the core of our culture at Google’s data centers. As the Director of Global Data Center Security Operations, you will be responsible for managing both the Regional Data Center Security Managers and the Site Security Managers who oversee the guard force services and providing the assurance that our physical assets are secure. You will be a security operations expert who is a people manager that always challenges the status quo and is continually looking for innovative and efficient ways to guarantee the security of our data centers. You will partner with the design, construction, engineering, operations, and EHS teams at our data center campuses, construction sites and our security operations centers. You will lead and support crisis response to minimize impacts of hazards both human made and environmental.
You will partner with the Data Center Engineering team on the design of our data centers, and makes recommendations that facilitate on site security through placement of components, people flows, and more.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$327,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
