Seeking an Operational Loss Data Reporting Analyst who is able to mine large volumes of data using SQL.  Analyze results to create, implement and maintain Operational Loss reporting used for Management, Committee and Regulatory purposes.  Gathers and integrates loss data, performs analysis, interprets results and develops actionable insights and recommendations.  Provides answers to business questions and is able to present the data and analysis in a clear, concise manner allowing the audience to easily understand the importance and make decisions to minimize operational losses.   Collaborates with various partners, providing reporting to support business as usual processes.  Participates in projects and/or activities to ensure compliance with applicable business and regulatory requirements. Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate.
 

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

- Five to seven years of risk, reporting and/or data analytics experience-

 

 

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Intermediate to expert level of SQL experience

- Report writer and strong SQL coding skills 

-Proficient in Tableau, Excel, Access and other software used to perform data analysis and produce reporting

- Experience analyzing data to produce reports that provide actionable and concise information

- Process improvement mindset, able to create value for the organization

- Demonstrated project management skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively

- Able to work independent and with a team

- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
