Are you naturally curious and passionate about making an impact in technology? The U.S. Bank Prepaid Product Development team is seeking a self-starter, quick learner, natural leader, relationship builder, and technology driver to own and oversee product development for a suite of applications that support a digital first strategy. You will be responsible for managing a diverse agile team to deliver prepaid’s products and services while enhancing our processing platform.

 

 

Position Highlights

 

  • Evaluate and establish a strong understanding of client or business line’s pain points and opportunities
  • Research and understand the “as is” state and expected outcomes to further define development needs
  • Identify and design for all impacted systems and stakeholders including technology constraints
  • Be the voice of the customer and design with the end user’s experiences in mind
  • Seek input from subject matter experts, including legal and compliance
  • Write, edit, plan and prioritize agile stories aligned with strategic objectives
  • Lead/participate in Agile ceremonies to refine business requirements and resolve issues through daily standups
  • Plan monthly development releases in alignment with client or business deliverables
  • Communicate and “demo" product development progress to business line stakeholders or clients
  • Optimize Agile team’s performance and delivery of key results

 

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • One to two years of related experience



Preferred Skills and Experience

 

  • Strong product management, design and technical development skills
  • Ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog
  • Ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work
  • Solid understanding of the Lean/Agile mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills
  • Standard industry certifications such as SAFe Agile Product Owner is a plus
