The Opportunity

The Sr. Manager of the Field Technology Program Management Office (PMO) leads a team of Program Managers (PgMs) who lead and run key pivotal initiatives. The PgMs drive  the operational planning, managing, tracking, reporting, communication, and execution of key programs across Adobe’s Field organization. Leading the PMO team requires both strategic and tactical approaches to ensure we deliver value on time. The Sr. Manager is required to lead and demonstrate the standard Program Management methodology across all team members, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and consistency. They will interact with IT, Sales Ops, and business partners throughout the Program Lifecycle.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, mentor and develop a distributed team of PgMs to deliver at the highest quality and intended customer value
  • Drive and improve upon the Program Management standard methodology to ensure consistency, scalability, and repeatability for a highly effective team
  • Build partnerships with all our internal customers and bridge areas of needed engagement
  • Provide leadership over all Programs the PgM are leading.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional leader who is articulate, has ability to navigate and direct ambiguity, and deliver customer centric results
  • 5+ years of management experience in a Program Management Office (PMO)
  • 7+ years of proven track record of Program Management leading large internal global technology initiatives
  • Extraordinary cross-functional collaborator; Inventive problem-solver who can lead and influence with a variety of partners
  • Experience working across professional services and sales partners is a major plus
  • High attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; ability to present at all levels
  • Highly resourceful, Self-Motivated and a Can-do demeanor
  • Must have the ability to prosper in a fast paced, dynamic, demanding and fluid environment and maintain a can-do demeanor
  • Experience leading a diverse group of individuals, with different experience and skillsets, and experience leading both full time employees and contingent staff
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Certification in project/program management (e.g., Project Management Institute’s PMP) a plus

 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $123,200 -- $229,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

 

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
