Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for recruitment to the following posts in the Mentuwa Management Assistant Technology Section 2 Service Category of the Sri Lanka Examinations Department.

Recruitment Method:

Among the applicants who have completed the qualifications mentioned in the notice, the candidates who get the highest marks based on the results of a structured interview test conducted by the Commissioner General of Examinations in Colombo only and a professional (practical) test that measures the practical knowledge and skills related to the field will be in Management Assistant Technology Segment 3 Service Category III Recruited for vacancies in grade posts. There the structured interview will be conducted in accordance with the marking procedure approved by the Commissioner General of Examinations (mentioned under No. 05).

The date of the structured interview will be fixed by the Commissioner General of Examinations.

General qualifications

Applicant must be a Sri Lankan citizen. Sutra had a good character and good physical health.

• Should not be a priest of any religious sect.
• Preference will be given to male applicants as they have to perform day and night duties.
• The son is not ineligible for appointment to the public service as per Chapter V of the Procedural Rules of the Public Service Commission.
• The qualifications required for recruitment to the post must be completed in all respects by the last date of application.

Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years as on the last date of receipt of applications. Accordingly, only those whose date of birth falls on or before 10.03.2005 and 10.03.1988 are eligible to apply for this.

Educational qualification

• Have passed in six (06) subjects including Mathematics in not more than two times with award pass in four (04) subjects including Sinhala, Tamil and English Language in the General Certificate of Studies (Ordinary) examination.
• For computer type setter and pattern draftsman only the qualification in (a) above is subject to G.E.C. (S. Text) It is necessary to have obtained an award pass for English language in the examination.

Professional Qualification:

Having obtained the National Vocational Skills NVP4 level recognized by the Vocational and Education Commission related to the field related to each position or a similar level of professional qualification related to each field recognized by the same commission.

Note – 

For the post of Printing Technician, Printing Technician and/or Electrician bands are applicable.

05 years of work experience in a position related to the field: Experience required.

Note – 

In cases where there is not enough number of applicants with relevant experience in a position related to the field, applicants who have completed other requirements except work experience will be recruited for the remaining vacancies subject to a training period of one year.

Physical Qualification: 

Every candidate has sufficient physical and mental fitness to serve in any part of the island and perform the duties of the government, said Sinha.

Terms and conditions of employment:

• These strings are permanent. With pension.
• You should be subject to the future policy decisions taken by the government regarding the pension system you are entitled to.
• Further, you have to contribute to Widows and Orphans Pension Scheme and Widows and Orphans Pension Scheme.
• You shall pay the contribution for the same as prescribed by the Government from time to time.
• These posts are limited to Sri Lanka Examinations Department.
• This appointment is subject to a probationary period of 03 years. Within 03 years of being appointed to the State, he must pass the 1st Karyak Shamatha bar exam as shown in the 3rd Schedule of the Sri Lanka Examination Department's Printing Service Constitution.
• To the rules and conditions mentioned in the Service Regulations of the Printing Service of the Sri Lanka Examinations Department, Mentuwa, to the Code of Institutions of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, to the Government's Financial Regulations and other orders issued by the Department, and to other regulations and orders issued by the Government from time to time. Also subject to this appointment.
• Should work both day and night depending on the service requirement and should agree to provide comfort on holidays as per existing duties.
