Directly and through staff, manages and coordinates the operational activities for assigned functional area(s)/regions(s). Ensures quality service and effective securities operations activities for all supported internal and external customers. Accomplishes results through the effective management of staff that may range from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals. Administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Participates in the preparation of the department's budget, and is accountable for managing expenses and actively contributing to the achievement of department net income goals. Proactively manages operational risks associated with span of responsibility, including the identification of control gaps and the design of operational controls to mitigate risks and financial exposure to the organization. Participates in the review and recommendation of operational systems and procedures affecting assigned units, and coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience in trust and securities operational functions
- Three to five years of management experience

- Thorough knowledge of trust and securities operational functions, systems, procedures, products and services
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth Management & Securities Services business lines and clients
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent supervisory and management skills, including a well-developed knowledge of human resources
- Ability to manage multiple, unrelated tasks
