CRANE TECHNICIAN – 2ND SHIFT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of all mechanical and electrical crane systems.
  • Conduct inspections of bridge and gantry cranes.
  • Install and remove different types of crane and crane equipment.
  • Modify crane parts.
  • Fabricate and install components related to crane equipment installations.
  • Document all work performed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 5+ years of experience working with cranes.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with bridge and gantry cranes.
  • Experience with modification of crane parts.
  • Knowledge of welding operations.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to utilize shop equipment for repairs or inspections.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is a 2nd shift role working from 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
  • Able to work all shifts, overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted.
  • Able to work under adverse conditions (e.g., dirty, noisy, or confined spaces).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
 
Pay range:

Crane Technician/Level 1: $23.00 - $31.00/hour
Crane Technician/Level 2: $28.00 - $37.00/hour
Crane Technician/Level 3: $33.00 - $43.00/hour
 
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
