Savin Engineers is looking for a Civil/Environmental Design Engineer to work in their Westchester County, Pleasantville NY office.
A typical work area includes water and wastewater projects that incorporate the following
· Pumping and hydraulics for liquids, slurries and viscous liquids.
Open Channel flow hydraulics.
Design of water and wastewater processes
· Piping system design - materials, layout, supports, anchors, expansion control
· Earthworks and road design
Chemical storage and feed systems.
· Remaining Management System.
· Stormwater Management Treatment
Responsibility:
Candidates will work closely with Senior Engineers at headquarters and other offices to coordinate project design across multiple disciplines. Candidates are expected to:
· Execute work on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Complete individual projects and tasks related to the whole project.
· Perform calculations and analyzes as well as prepare technical memos.
· Prepare engineering plans and specifications.
· Provide engineering services during project construction.
Job Requirements:
· S1 Civil/Environmental Engineering
· 5 to 10 Years Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare written reports. Experience in projects in the New York City Metro area is a plus.
