We are working with an exciting and growing business who are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their friendly and ambitious team. This is a business-to-business sales role into the health and medical sector which will involve being office based 2 days per week (Yeadon, Leeds) and then 3 days on the road meeting with customers following the training period.

We are looking for a true relationship developer for this Area Sales Manager role. You will be able to build relationships with ease and always do what you say you will for your customer base.

* Basic Salary - £35k basic salary + commission
* Realistic earnings including commission - £50k-£60k per year (uncapped)

As an Area Sales Manager you will take responsibility for sales activities and associated job duties, from new business acquisition through to maintaining new and existing working relationships.

Responsibilities:

* Establishing, maintaining, and expanding your customer base
* Maintaining and increasing sales of the company
* Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
* Servicing the requirements of your existing customers
* Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
* Follow and support improvement of sales strategies
* Collecting customer and market feedback, keeping up to date with products and competitors
* Adapting to company strategy on new services offered
* Ensure all calls are completed promptly and calendar entries are entered
* Act in a professional manner and fulfil any other duties which may be required
* Ensure all training is completed on time and new training and development opportunities are explored.

Requirements and Knowledge / Skills:

* Full UK Driving Licence
* Happy to work office based in Yeadon, Leeds during the training period and on Mondays and Fridays after the training period.
* Happy to travel in the UK to attend appointments.
* Communication, organisation, and planning skills.
* Self-motivated and uses own initiative.
* A team player who can build and maintain relationships.
* Being competent, flexible, persistent, and effective.
* Able to meet deadlines.
* Competent with IT systems.
